"In Eden (Lucifer), the garden of God" Ezekiel 28:13

Genesis 2:8 And the Lord God planted a garden in Eden and put the man whom he had formed. (KJV)

When you see the contrast between the verses, we see that Adam was created before the garden of Eden, planted, and then you see that Lucifer in Eden, was, in other words before his fall, Lucifer protect the garden of Eden? ... I'm confused, any explanation?
